REVIEW: No7 City Light
I have been lucky enough to trial the new No7 City Light Tinted Moisturiser which is launching in Boots stores on 28th September. It is a tinted moisturiser which comes in three shades, (Fair, Medium, Medium/Dark) designed to offer lasting hydration and advanced protection from daily environmental stresses. It also contains SPF 15, Vitamins C & E, Ginseng and Mulberry Extract.
I have been trialling the medium shade, it has a thick, cream-like consistency and feels very hydrating on the skin. It has a very sheer tint of colour and when applied to the skin looks very natural and radiant.
I found that it was really easy and quick to apply and was best used with a damp beauty blender for a really quick and flawless application. This formula would be really great for people who don't usually wear make-up or don't have much time to apply a full face everyday (e.g. people who work in the cities).
I did find I had to apply a few layers to be able to see it on my skin, but that may be because I'm used to heavier foundations on a day-to-day basis. Tip: Apply concealer on any blemishes and imperfections you may have on the skin, giving you more coverage, and a more perfected base.
I feel like this would be great to go on holiday with, so definitely worth purchasing now in readiness for next summer!
It retails at £12.50 which I think is an affordable price for a tinted moisturiser with an SPF included.
